This document specifies a procedure for the evaluation of centreline segregation of continuously cast slabs, including sampling, sample preparation and evaluation method. This document is applicable for low carbon steel slabs for pipe production manufactured by continuous casting. These steels have a typical chemical composition as follows (mass percentages): — C ≤ 0,12 % — Mn ≤ 2,0 % — Si ≤ 0,5 % — Ti + Nb + V ≤ 0,2 % The common dimensions of these slabs are in the following ranges: — Slab width: 800 mm to 2 600 mm — Slab thickness: 150 mm to 450 mm The evaluation methods covered by this document are based on macroscopic etching of slab samples followed by visual inspection by means of human eye or camera systems. The procedures for sampling described in 5.1 to 5.3 of this document are applicable to steels slabs in general (e. g. other steel grades or dimensions). However, the etching procedure (see 5.4) in combination with the evaluation methods described in Clause 6 have been developed especially for the application on pipeline steels as given above. Thus, they are not applicable to other steel grades, product types or dimensions without a prior validation. Any extension or modification beyond the scope of this document necessitates a separate agreement between producer and customer.

This document specifies evaluation methods for determining the content of reactive oxygen species (ROS) used in the FB-facilitated advanced oxidation for pollution abatement in the wastewater treatment process. The probe based kinetic model is applicable to systems that generate ROS in substantial quantities, rather than at physiological concentrations, and is applicable to short-lived ROS. However, it is not applicable to long-lived ROS, such as ozone (O3) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). This document adopts the black box concept that the dust collector to be tested is operated with the specification determined by the manufacturer except test dust condition and the pulse interval during ageing. This document is applicable to small dust collectors utilizing cartridge filters including molded filters or bag filters with pulse cleaning equipment as filtration media for dry dust collection. Mist and fumes collectors are excluded from this test. The performance obtained from this test does not guarantee the performance of the system. This document is not intended to offer the superiority or inferiority of performance between dust collectors, but specifies a standard test method that provides users with performance under simulated conditions of use for a certain duration.

Except for critical equipment, where hydrogen requirements and material compatibility are defined by relevant specific, national and international product standard, according to CEN/TR 17924 and CEN/TR 17797, no specific requirements are necessary, as detailed in this document (see also Figure 1), under the following conditions:
—   for a homogeneous mixture of natural gas and hydrogen with a hydrogen content not exceeding 10 % by volume, at operating pressures up to 100 bar (10 MPa); or
—   for operating pressures up to 10 bar (1 MPa) with a hydrogen content up to 100 % by volume.
—   Equipment is classified as critical when it’s subjected to fatigue or specific mechanical stress due to specific operating conditions and applications (i.e. compression and pumping station, specific industrial installations, fuel tanks for vehicles, …).
This document represents minimum requirements and does not restrict the use of better procedures or materials.

The test methods described are designed to determine the disinfectant activity of processes used in the 1) medical area, 2) veterinary area, 3) food, industrial, domestic and institutional area using automated processes for distributing chemicals by air diffusion with no operator manually applying the disinfectant.
